About our Full-Day tour

Harvest Tours offers a select Full Day Wine Tour experience that combines comfort and excitement, all while remaining accessible and affordable.
We begin with a coffee tasting at Yahava Koffeeworks before we head to McHenry Hohnen to taste their biodynamic wines. At Thompson Estate you’ll witness traditional winemaking methods and enjoy a guided tasting session. For lunch, we’ll whisk you away for a two-course seasonal meal and seated wine tasting at the charming Nookery Cafe at Woody Nook Wines before heading to Margaret River Chocolate Factory to satisfy your sweet tooth. You’ll also get to explore gourmet foods and skincare at Vasse Virgin and cap off the day with a refreshing craft beer at either Wild Hop Brewing or The Servo Taphouse.

YAHAVA KOFFEEWORKS
The tour begins with a visit to Yahava Koffeeworks in Margaret River, an ideal way to kick off the day's adventures. This much-loved local Western Australian company is renowned for sourcing coffee beans from all corners of the globe, ensuring a unique and diverse tasting experience for guests. Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to sample a variety of coffees at their dedicated tasting benches. An expert guide will be on hand to walk you through each option, explaining the brewing process and sharing insights into what makes each cup distinctive.
NOOKERY CAFE @ WOODY NOOK WINES
The Nookery Café is beautifully nestled amidst a scenic backdrop of jarrah and marri forest, offering a tranquil and picturesque setting for guests. The café exudes a rustic and cosy charm, welcoming visitors both inside its cottage-style building and outside in the fresh air. Guests can choose to relax under the shady pergola or enjoy the all-weather alfresco patio situated by a serene fish pond, making it a delightful spot to unwind.
MCHENRY HOHNEN
At McHenry Hohnen, the vineyards are managed using 100% biodynamic methods, prioritising the health and vitality of the soil. Biodynamics differs from organic farming by treating the vineyard as an interconnected ecosystem, where every element works together to create balance and resilience. This holistic approach also incorporates lunar cycles into vineyard management, recognising their influence on plant growth and soil activity. As a result, the wines produced here reflect the benefits of minimal intervention and an environmentally conscious ethos.

Masterclass in how to brew a coffee and learn about the origin of coffee while enjoying the extended tasting.
McHenry Hohnen
McHenry Hohnen, where you can appreciate the sustainable, eco-friendly practices while tasting the fruitful results on minimal intervention.
Thompson Estate
Enjoy a seated wine tasting amongst the barrels at this Five Red Star Winery which is in the top echelon of Australian wineries.
Nookery Cafe @ Woody Nook Wines
For lunch, we head to the Nookery Cafe at Woody Nook Wines for a two-course seasonal feast and glass of wine. After lunch ,enjoy a seated wine tasting in the gallery.
Vasse Virgin
No trip to Margaret River is complete without visiting Vasse Virgin, known for its natural olive oil skincare made from local ingredients, gourmet olive oil foods, so you can bring home a taste of the region.
Margaret River Chocolate Factory
Enjoy a stopover where you can sample freshly made, locally acclaimed chocolates—an ideal treat to complete your gourmet day.
Wild Hop Brewing or The Servo Taphouse
Our final stop lets you unwind with your choice of drink, local ale, gin, or wine all at your own expense. This venue operates seasonally in winter. Afterward, we’ll take you back to your accommodation, completing your day in Margaret River.

Very Memorable Day Out
"I booked this tour as part of our weekend getaway for our 25th wedding anniversary for my wife and I, and it did not disappoint. The staff were very accommodating, ensuring we were seated together and making our celebration special. Fabulous day tour of the Margaret River
"Fabulous day tour of the Margaret River region! Steve was a terrific tour guide and provided us with so much knowledge about the area. The whole day was extremely well organised and we enjoyed each place we visited. The wine tastings were extremely generous and lunch was delicious. We especially enjoyed visiting Vasse Virgin skincare and gourmet foods and the Margaret River Chocolate Factory in the afternoon. This is a great tour if you are limited in time as it gives you a wonderful experience of the Margaret River all in one day. We will definitely be back!"

Amazing family orientated
"This was a fantastic tour. I brought my parents to see this region of WA who are a bit elderly I their 70s, my mother also being a non drinker. But they loved every minute of it, from the coffee in the morning to the wineries and chocolate in the afternoon. The wine tastings just keep coming, so you'll never sober up lol. Also on our trip the group were the most decent diverse ppl from all over the world just looking to have a good time and we all got on so well. I would definitely recommend this trip and for me personally one of the best tours I've been on in my life because of the awesome ppl I met on the tour and Clarice who ran the whole thing. She was an absolute sweety. Cannot recommend this anymore"

Amazing intimate wine tour experience!!
"Fantastic all day wine tour!! Firstly, Clarice was the absolute BOMB!!! So informative about all things wine and the place she calls home. Such a gorgeous person and made everyone on the tour feel relaxed and happy. We never felt rushed at the stops. Saw some amazing family run wineries. All of them incredibly passionate about their craft and you can’t help but get swept up in their journey. Our favorite was Brown Hill winery. Really beautiful wines! We had a great lunch at the Nookery cafe and they even gave us all a complimentary sparkling wine to celebrate our honeymoon! We finished the tour at the West Wings Distillery and tried their amazing gins and vodka (not that we needed more alcohol by then!!). I would highly recommend this great tour. Small and intimate with a great host! Thanks again Clarice!!! 🥰"

Full day exploring the very best of Margaret River
"We had an amazing day exploring the region with our excellent guide Steve, who was very friendly and full of knowledge. It was very well organised as there was so many places that we visited. The food at lunch was excellent as well as all the wines along the way. Steve was so kind at the end of the day to take us to see lots of kangaroos close up and a stop at a lovely bay. Would definitely recommend this tour especially as it was a small group and made it more personal"
