Next, we’ll enjoy a delightful lunch at The Nookery Cafe at Woody Nook Wines, featuring a sharing plate paired with a glass of wine. The tour also includes a sweet stop at the Margaret River Chocolate Factory for some delicious chocolate tastings. Brown Hill Estate is a family-owned winery located in the picturesque Rosa Brook subregion of Margaret River. Established in 1997, the estate is known for its sustainable vineyard management and handcrafted wines. Brown Hill Estate produces a range of varietals, including Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Malbec, as well as unique blends. They specialise in using small, intensely flavoured grapes, which create deeper, richer wines that truly express the unique characteristics of the Rosa Brook terroir.
The cellar door at Brown Hill Estate offers a relaxed and intimate tasting experience, where you’ll be able to enjoy a variety of wines and learn about their unique winemaking process and the family’s philosophy. Plus, we’ll sneak a peek inside their barrel room, where the wines get their finishing touches, and hear directly from the experts about the winery’s history. It's a truly hands-on experience, making it a highlight for wine enthusiasts and tourists alike.
PEACETREE ESTATE
Peacetree Estate is a small, family-owned boutique winery nestled in the heart of Margaret River. Since 1995, the Tucker family has lovingly managed this estate which was originally an olive grove. The name Peacetree symbolises the olive branch, representing peace, with trees planted by three generations of the Tucker family. Today, Sam Tucker continues the family legacy three generations on.
The estate's wines are expertly crafted by Peacetree’s original French vintner, Severine Maudoux, and the award-winning winemaker, Livia Maiorana. Their combined expertise ensures that every bottle is a masterpiece, made with artisan flair and natural winemaking techniques. From harvest to bottle, the quality is meticulously controlled, resulting in vibrant, flavorful wines that truly capture the essence of this picturesque estate.
WOODY NOOK WINES
Woody Nook Wines is a true boutique winery with a story that began in 1982 when the first vines were planted. Set against the Jarrah and Karri forests, it’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a glass of wine, and soak in the scenery.
During our visit, you'll get to taste a variety of their wines, from refreshing, fruity whites to bold, full-bodied reds. The knowledgeable staff will guide you through the tasting, sharing insights into the winemaking process and the unique characteristics of each wine. After our tasting, we'll pop over to The Nookery Cafe. There, you can top off your wine glass and dig into a delicious platter filled with gourmet cheeses, freshly made hummus, a selection of cold cuts, tasty seafood, and fresh fruits. The combination of exceptional wines and delightful food in such a picturesque setting makes Woody Nook Wines a highlight of any Margaret River visit.

Brown Hill Estate is your next wine-tasting stop. Here, you will get to observe their winemaking processes, tour the barrel room, and learn more about the history of the winery all while indulging in a sumptuous tasting of their finest drops.
PEACETREE ESTATE
Tucked away in the heart of Cowaramup, this cosy boutique winery specialises in turning the finest local fruits into small batches of truly unique wines.
THE NOOKERY CAFé
For lunch, we’re heading to the spectacular Woody Nook Wines! We’ll kick things off with some delightful wine tastings to find your favourite pour before settling in with a full glass of your chosen wine and tucking into a generous sharing plate.
MARGARET RIVER CHOCOLATE FACTORY

Very Memorable Day Out

Fabulous day tour of the Margaret River
"Fabulous day tour of the Margaret River region! Steve was a terrific tour guide and provided us with so much knowledge about the area. The whole day was extremely well organised and we enjoyed each place we visited. The wine tastings were extremely generous and lunch was delicious. We especially enjoyed visiting Vasse Virgin skincare and gourmet foods and the Margaret River Chocolate Factory in the afternoon. This is a great tour if you are limited in time as it gives you a wonderful experience of the Margaret River all in one day. We will definitely be back!"

Amazing family orientated
"This was a fantastic tour. I brought my parents to see this region of WA who are a bit elderly I their 70s, my mother also being a non drinker. But they loved every minute of it, from the coffee in the morning to the wineries and chocolate in the afternoon. The wine tastings just keep coming, so you'll never sober up lol. Also on our trip the group were the most decent diverse ppl from all over the world just looking to have a good time and we all got on so well. I would definitely recommend this trip and for me personally one of the best tours I've been on in my life because of the awesome ppl I met on the tour and Clarice who ran the whole thing. She was an absolute sweety. Cannot recommend this anymore"

Amazing intimate wine tour experience!!
"Fantastic all day wine tour!! Firstly, Clarice was the absolute BOMB!!! So informative about all things wine and the place she calls home. Such a gorgeous person and made everyone on the tour feel relaxed and happy. We never felt rushed at the stops. Saw some amazing family run wineries. All of them incredibly passionate about their craft and you can’t help but get swept up in their journey. Our favorite was Brown Hill winery. Really beautiful wines! We had a great lunch at the Nookery cafe and they even gave us all a complimentary sparkling wine to celebrate our honeymoon! We finished the tour at the West Wings Distillery and tried their amazing gins and vodka (not that we needed more alcohol by then!!). I would highly recommend this great tour. Small and intimate with a great host! Thanks again Clarice!!! 🥰"

Full day exploring the very best of Margaret River
"We had an amazing day exploring the region with our excellent guide Steve, who was very friendly and full of knowledge. It was very well organised as there was so many places that we visited. The food at lunch was excellent as well as all the wines along the way. Steve was so kind at the end of the day to take us to see lots of kangaroos close up and a stop at a lovely bay. Would definitely recommend this tour especially as it was a small group and made it more personal"
