BUSSELTON JETTY TRAIN & UNDERWATER OBSERVATORY

One of our stops on the way to Margaret River will be in the idyllic beachside town of Busselton. Our destination is the iconic Busselton Jetty, the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere, stretching out into the calm waters of Geographe Bay. We will catch the cute, red jetty train out to the end, enjoying 360-degree views of the Indian Ocean and the white, sandy beach on either side. At the end of the jetty, you will descend into the Underwater Observatory - one of only six in the world - where you can look out on the best artificial reef in Australia. The jetty piles are covered with colourful tropical corals and sponges and are home to more than three hundred different marine species.

Ngilgi Cave

The semi-guided tour at Ngilgi Cave begins with an introductory talk as visitors are led into the first chamber. After this introduction, guests are free to explore the cave at their own pace, taking in the spectacular formations and unique underground environment. Throughout the cave, a knowledgeable guide is stationed and available to answer questions and provide detailed information about various areas within the cave. This experience also offers insights into the ancient lands surrounding Ngilgi, enhancing your understanding of the region’s rich natural and cultural history.

DAY 1

Pick-up from Busselton Margaret River Airport

To make the visit to WA super convenient, we will pick you up right from the Busselton Margaret River Airport with your luggage to start your regional experience.

Busselton Jetty Train & Underwater Discovery Tour

The next stop is Busselton, where we will take the jetty train to the end of the Busselton Jetty, and head down into the Underwater Discovery Centre for a viewing of the beautiful marine life.

Ngilgi Cave

The semi-guided tour at Ngilgi Cave begins with an introductory talk as visitors are led into the first chamber. Once the introduction is complete, guests have the freedom to explore the cave at their own pace, taking in the impressive geological formations and unique underground environment. Throughout the cave, a knowledgeable guide is always available and stationed to answer any questions, as well as to provide detailed information about the various areas within the cave. This arrangement ensures visitors can fully immerse themselves in the experience while having expert support on hand.

Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse

Join a guided tour of the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse for a fascinating look into the workings of an operational lighthouse. The tour highlights the critical functions performed by the lighthouse, offering visitors an understanding of its role in maritime safety. Canal Rocks

Located along the stunning coastline of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, Canal Rocks is a remarkable natural attraction characterised by its unique granite rock formations. Peacetree

To complete your day Peacetree is a boutique wine producer located in the heart of Margaret River. DAY 3

Pick up from your accommodation including luggage

After breakfast (at your own expense), you will be collected from your accommodation along with your luggage and transferred back to the Busselton Margaret River Airport for your return flight to Melbourne or Sydney.
